| Description | A legendary historic pub but one that remains so, rather than simply having been so. The character of the venue has not been extinguished, you will find an early Georgian style tavern with ante rooms and 2 basements. A roaring fire by the bar, tiles, and crosshatch window panels. Full of quirks and original character, and despite being run by Sam Smiths and attracting a touristy crowd, the quality endures. Very few places like this remain in Europe. |
