DescriptionAn excellent pub which combines a number of key ingredients well. The raw materials are good for a start – low ceilings with exposed beams, a multiroom setup with a hatch for serving. These are retained, decorated with red walls and blackened beams, fitted with traditional wooden furniture and a bar billiards table.

A local feel with community events, good range of ales including local breweries and reportedly great Sunday lunches too.

Very well reviewed and deservedly so. (added March 2022)
