| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A good range of 5/6 traditional handpump cask ales which span local to some more famous names. Competent back bar, the keg options probably the only shortfall. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Set in a row of terraces at the foot of a hill, standing out clearly on the street. Inside you’ll find a lounge to your left and a raised step to a narrow bar, leading to the pool room at the back. Traditionally furnished including a working fireplace. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Social, homely and welcoming feel with friendly staff and a sense of a place to hangout. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Pool, bar billiards, snacks, TV, darts, games machine, limited outdoor seating, community events, quiz night, open mic, etc. |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Entirely fair value. |
| Description | A lovely backstreet neighbourhood pub just outside Lincoln’s historic core but perfectly easy to reach by foot. The operation has a social focus and a comfortably homely interior that invites a longer visit, particularly during colder months with the two fireplaces crackling. They keep the place as a traditional pub with bar billiards, darts and a pool room with several cask ales to enjoy from independent breweries both local and more well-known. Add to that quiz nights and open mic and you have a pub that is serving its community fantastically well. |
