❤️❤️❤️❤️
A labour of love with a distinctly curated traditional feel. Enter to find a long narrow bar area with niches off it and a backroom. Recovered signage is not randomised but carefully put together to compliment each item and each wall, the effect meets you almost immediately.

DescriptionA truly outstanding English pub that aims high and hits the right notes . It is near immediately apparent why this pub has won many awards both local and national. Beer options are not the be all and end all, but they are nevertheless excellent with a tied microbrewery and many alternative options from smaller breweries. The place itself is a curated work of art with each room and each corner carefully put together piece by piece. A long narrow bar is a natural congregation area, with pleasant niches around it which generate the hubbub and energy that make the pub really shine. Even TV with sport can’t really split opinion as the venue does so well balancing each need. Covered outdoor seating and food help to supply further reasons for coming. Simply put, a classic pub.
