Description
|
This is for the most part a lakeside gastropub and hotel more than it is a pub, but the historic core of the pub that remains is an absolute one off, with crackled crimson paint on the walls and ceilings, lamplight, rickety furniture and fire. A must-see.
They have preserved the very heart of the pub for drinking and socialising. It’s vitally important nothing happens to this room otherwise the soul of the place will be extinguished.
UPDATE: 2023 – as the bar is increasingly infrequently attended you may need to ask permission to move your drinks through to the bar room.
