Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The beer selection is superb, eye-catching options of products that will be both tantalising in their rarity and unfamiliarity (unless you’re Finnish) and overwhelming in their number. This includes 4 permanent taps for local brewery beers and cask ales from England! A well-stocked back bar for alternatives, especially whiskies, is also to its credit.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Open plan. Stylishly demure, low-key drinking lounge with muted lamplights and amber hues illuminating black and dark woods.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Somehow both bar-like and pub-like with the wood and finish complimenting each other very well, but the overall atmosphere is helped when people are here, no doubt. Attracting a 30-something crowd, it is no party venue but becomes social and relaxing in the evenings.
Amenities/
Events
❤️❤️❤️
Snacks, newspapers, board games, occasional events, function room
Value For Money❤️❤️
No doubt it is slightly more expensive for the area although not outstandingly.
DescriptionEstablished in 1992, Leskinen represents one of the longer-standing pub businesses in all of Finland. From modest beginnings they have become renowned for the selection of beers, both in terms of style and provenance. It is not all about the product though, as the bar maintains sleek, yet comfortable fittings and a sense of institution which has been earned over the decades, adding to the significance. There is no doubt whatsoever that it should be visited while in Oulu.
