One of only a handful of non-bland venues to socialise in around Augsburg, which is a well-to-do, but sometimes rather stuffy Bavarian city, one you have to keep reminding yourself isn’t in Austria. 

Here, there’s a bastion for the arts, for socialising and for culture.

Décor is offbeat, brooding and red ,with music, art, theatre abounding. Left-leaning (unsurprisingly), you’ll find instruments available to jam with, music performances and a lively community scene.

The drinks selection, though largely perfunctory, offers a few nice surprises here and there too.

Very well reviewed, and it’s no surprise. It’s a local cult venue.
