Description:
Evening pub with a rickety ground floor Gaststatte in a timber-framed building. Downstairs is a little genteel and twee during the day, but check the upstairs with a little more bohemian flair. Atmospheric in the evenings, but it can be frustrating if you arrive without a reservation some days. This is a venue that should definitely reserve some space for walk-ins. We’re pleased to say the offerings drinks wise are good with Franconian beer on draft in the shape of Huppendorfer’s Vollbier. A popular spot among a range of ages, it tries to occupy somewhere between an evening restaurant and casual hangout spot. We’d prefer if it leaned towards the latter but can definitely recommend giving it a try.
