| Description | A superb venue est. 1976 hosting music and live events in its tiny 35 square metre one room setup. A Rauch/Muzikkneipe par excellence, with a genius loci you can feel regardless of whether it’s a performance night or not. The social setup naturally invites cross-chat and conversation, while the atmosphere in the room is the height of conviviality, warmth, friendliness and cosiness. This isn’t one of those scuzzy places however, the surroundings are almost closer to a Spanish tapas bar than a Berlin punk dive, and that explains why there’s a good spread and cross-section of people here. For those who can’t abide or tolerate smoke, it may be too much to handle, for everyone else, this is evidence without a doubt one of the finest bars in Europe. |
