A mixed crowd as could be expected from its format, but the punk approach differs from the immediate surroundings and you can find middle aged couples sitting upstairs with a coffee just as much as groups of youngsters playing table football.

Description:
Part of a collective, the ‘Gaengeviertel’ set in a complex of listed buildings, Jupi Bar’s big USP is the ability to pay-as-you-like. This reflects its punk/anarchist approach. The bar is a mishmash of reclaimed furniture and personalised interior with a colourful, funky feel.

Although Jupi has operated as a pub for 100 years, it hasn’t looked like this until modern times.

Despite a low online profile, it’s a popular spot in part due to its prominent corner location.

Set across two floors, there are games, books and board games in an environment that functions as a café and hangout spot effectively both day and night.
