Don’t expect any hostility, however, this is a pub that offers a polite welcome rather than head turning and staring. |

| Description | Belonging to the ‘Kalaravintolat’ group, the concept is of an easygoing neighbourly Brown Café style pub where you can enjoy a drink. On your visit you will likely notice it takes in more than just the brown café concept, but English pubs, Czech Hospudky and German Gaststatten too. One-room corner pub off a junction, attracting local residents and a different crowd to the hustle and bustle of central Helsinki. That said, it is only 5 minutes away on a tram. The group pride themselves on a handsome selection of beers and this is no doubt one of the main reasons to venture out here with a great choice available covering classics through to modern Finnish craft across a range of styles, it is highly unlikely you will be disappointed. With local rhythms accenting the place afternoon or evening, it is a good experience to compare and contrast with the central spots, and not so local that you’ll be treated unpleasantly either. |
