Choice/Quality of Drinks❤️❤️❤️❤️
Superior range of well kept cask ales from regional breweries, two new keg options from Vocation, 3 box ciders and some unfortunately disappointing lager options with a stock back bar.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Backstreet boozer set alone on a corner by a slope, but easy to reach from either train station. A whitewashed house with signage on both sides and a beer garden (more of a yard) to the rear. Inside, a one room setup with pool and TV to the back and lounge to the front. Simply furnished with communal upholstered seats and individual circular tables. Black beams, pump clip decoration and Bradford City FC memorabilia.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can be quiet in summer months inside but for most of the year the interior is lively in the evening, a classic example of a social, not food-focused pub.
Amenities/
Events
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pool table, jukebox, outdoor seating, summer bbqs, snacks + tapas, occasional events.
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fair value for the beers and cider on offer.
DescriptionFriendly lived-in, and endearingly knackered old boozer with black beams, pump clip decorations and Bradford City FC memorabilia. Several real ales kept immaculately and reasonable prices. Pool table, a growing outdoor area. Well reputed. Unlikely to be everyone’s idea of a good time but it has kept its charm,  coziness and overall social format while staying attached and relevant feeling.  A standout in the region. (Added 2020)
