Description:
Established in 1991, this small town pub is a meeting place and living room for locals, and if you arrive as an outsider don’t be surprised to find a few “who are you” type looks. That said, with an airy, well-maintained taproom and plenty of seating space, it’s hardy like entering a spider’s lair. T
The rhythm of life and local etiquette is interesting, markedly different from urban Prague, but in aside of the socialising, you’ll find a genuinely superb selection of European lager, with highlights being their own label Polotmave and Fabian 12 from Pivovar Hostomice, on sale for a frankly ludicrous price.
They are a shop and offer takeouts of PET bottles, along with cooked food and snacks. Service was professional and welcoming too.
Zdice may seem obscure but is on a main train line and a frequent fixed stop between Pilsen and Prague, making this a good idea to break a journey.
