Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Poutnik pivo including the unfiltered edition. That’s all you need to know. |
Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Typical Pivnice with curved ceilings and windows, plain white walls and midbrown furniture set across a series of rooms including a garden. Decorated with religious art in accordance with its name ‘All Saints’. Bar area and the room to its right seems the best place to be. |
Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A social scene that’s detached from any tourism in the main centre and really feels like an everyday type place, not in a bad way at all. Here is where real life is coming and going. A shame the stamgast table takes up so much room when it’s unoccupied. |
Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ TV, garden, dartboard, simple meals |
Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Good value all round. |
Description | At first glance you may have thought this was a throwback boozer, looking at clips and images. While the bar area certainly gives off that impression, this is very much a relevant present day pub with a crowd to match. Distinctive with its mid-brown wood furniture, curved ceilings and religious iconography on the walls. The best area appears to be around the bar and to the right of the main entrance. Unfortunately the regulars table is opposite the bar which reduces the opportunity to get a seat in the premium spot, but it is a large venue with plenty of alternatives. A garden, TV, dartboard and meals supplement the offering, which is capped off by having Poutnik beer on tap, an absolutely superb session lager, including their unfiltered version ‘Spinavy’ (Dirty) that may just top the lot. |
