| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 13 taps concentrating on beers from smaller/independent brewers, a fabulous selection. Typical back bar |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️ Basement bar with two large rooms. A kind of social club type space, built to accommodate the numbers who visit gigs. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Something of a stalwart presence on Prague’s bar scene, with loyal regulars which helps give it a bit of an atmosphere even when quiet. On gig nights it unsurprisingly transforms. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Meals, snacks, TV, wifi, outdoor seating, dog friendly |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Entirely fair value for what’s on offer. |
| Description | In 2024 U Prince Miroslava featured in Czech TV series ‘Drunk Prague’ owing to its history as a down-to-earth punky music venue from the 1990s, and hopefully its inclusion will help provide some fresh impetus for the place. Located far enough outside central Andel and Smichov station to be a local’s spot, this is not a pub you will find a tonne of tourists. Enter through a yard with outdoor seating downstairs into a large half-basement with two rooms that resemble social clubs in their unusually vast space. It is easy to feel the history of the place and the many many gigs that have come and gone over the decades, new partnerships, new break-ups, arguments and fights, laughter and fun. That memory which hangs in their air is more noticeable than anything visible or tangible. But it isn’t all about history and live music, this pub offers a crackingly good selection of beers, with 13 taps concentrating on smaller, independent breweries. It was also offering a better range long before that turned into a passé corporate business model of the kind copied and pasted across the river in Karlin district. For that, it deserves credit as a trailblazer. And one thing this place certainly is not, is corporate. There are usually a cast of regulars in here, but to see the place at its best try a gig night or a busy Friday or Saturday evening, and the point of the pub is suddenly brought into sharper focus.
