| Description | A labour of love, this central café bar keeps the flame burning for the city’s long gone tram network, a link to a more civilised and – in some ways – connected past. Floral exterior with nouveau signage and a tram carriage interior, there is so much flair to enjoy about the design of this place, particularly in the Balkans which often makes a point of utilitarianism in cafe bars. Yes, this venue is as much about ice cream, coffee, cake as it is about beer and rakija but it remains a bar, and an essential stop offer as you wander around the city. (Added June 2023) |
