Description:
This location has seen many businesses since the 1900s, originally a dance hall before several restaurants. TNT opened in 1989 with an inheritance of a few of their predecessors. Aspects of the interior but also the menu – puttanesca, horse meat burgers etc and sandwiches – yes, they’re a big deal here. Their technique is to heat all elements individually so that all the sandwich is hot.

These days TNT is showing its age but is no less popular. A huge crowd assemble giving it a lively, bustling atmosphere.

You’ll find a bar near the front with booths and tables around it and to the rear of the room, with staff bringing dishes back and forth.

Such is its fame, to be part of it, even for an evening is to partake in a Triestine ritual.
