Quality of Drinks
|
⭐⭐⭐
Typical Irish corporate fare, albeit with 1 beer on from West Kerry brewery, which counts as a minor miracle. Decent whisky selection. |
Style/
Décor
|
⭐⭐⭐⭐
A really quite typical Irish pub decor but not too heavy on the flags and bunting, which helps. Cosy gloom accented by candlelight, some coastal decor as could be expected. A great view out of the back.

Atmosphere/
Character
|
⭐⭐⭐⭐
A local’s pub by day and by night, with local conversation that gradually gives way to a more communal atmosphere during the evenings. The lady of the house keeps charge very well.

Description
|
Homely, personalised village pub with views of the mountains and coastline. Rustic wood panelling and some typical coastal pub decor. Some live music and good grub and a keg offering from local West Kerry Brewery which, in ultra-conservative Ireland’s beer culture counts as a win.
