| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A very acceptable range of keg craft of various styles including a good fridge. Beer specialists so limited alternatives. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️ Basement pub, pokey with dark green paint and hops pinned to the corners. A little bit dank in the corners. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nice intimate basement feel with a fairly social atmosphere. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️ Snacks |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️ City centre prices, but not unreasonable. |
| Description | One of Newcastle’s longer-standing micropubs/craft beer venues in the centre. A basement venue with steps leading down to a little bar painted dark green with niches and sturdy furniture. A fixture with a crowd of semi-regulars, dog walkers and those on the ale scene. Could perhaps use a bit more decoration and homeliness in some of its danker corners, but it’s clear this is a superior option. |
