Description	High street ale house with a comfortable interior. While unflashy, there is a solid feel to it that belies the fact it is clearly an ex-retail unit. That gives the place a sense of ease and it’s the kind of place you could happily spend the afternoon. Cask and keg choices are modern and space is given to the microbrew operation and local/regional brewers, but this is complimented by good gins and whiskies. Overall, not one to look past if you’re in the area. (Added October 2023)
