Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beer-focused with a balanced selection covering UK craft, European beers including some oddities and cask ale range. Well stocked back bar of alternatives.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A piece of jaw-dropping one-off magnificence. Gothic fittings, with decoration of twisting, branch-like filigree and detail covering walls and ceiling, creating an effect that is something out of this world almost. High ceilings with a large bar area, dining room to the rear and old partitioned ‘smoke room’ (no longer smokey).
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️
Market town tavern type fare with some transience. Lacking some snug corners and cosiness but still a pleasant atmosphere overall.

Value For Money❤️❤️
London prices for food and drink.
DescriptionA Grade II listed pub of national heritage importance, your jaw will drop as you enter to a scene of 19th century Flemish Gothic splendour, the walls and ceilings covered in filigree and ornate decoration, a show-stopper that will hang in your memory forever. That’s reason enough to visit Kilburn, and you’ll notice the contrast between here ant the high street. However, that’s not all there is to it, with North Indian cooking, a good versatile drinks range and pleasant glow to the place in the evening. It projects significance and no wonder it received an award for the best refurbishment after years of PubCo neglect. (Added September 2023)
