Choice/Quality of Drinks:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’ll find decent beers on tap from Birrificio Italiano, and an otherwise perfunctory Aperitivo type back bar.

Style/Décor:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A fairly polished look, but not overly corporate or pretentious either. Makes use of the urban environment well, with good use of the viaduct and train carriage as creative space.

Atmosphere/Character:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pleasant on a calm warm day, and comes to life on balmy evenings with its cultural roster.

Amenities/Events:
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Food, snacks, outdoor seating, live music, cultural centre, art space, games

Value For Money:
❤️❤️
Reasonably high but not extortionate.

Description:
Stazione Radio is based in an unexpectedly attractive part of Milan. A sprawl of railway lines shoots out from the train station, an unprepossessing setting, but the canals of Milan have been made more attractive over the years, and the tow path is now a popular spot for walkers and people seeking a brief green space amidst urban sprawl.

Set in a former substation and under viaduct arches, Stazione Radio is a courtyard bar with trucks, vans and space to sit back and relax. Live music from a converted train carriage-cum-stage, games room, performances and deckchairs, achieved with a polished finish, but not feeling too corporate either.

You’ll find decent beers on tap from Birrificio Italiano and street food trucks for snack options.

On a warm spring evening and throughout summer it is an attractive choice and a good base for exploring this surprisingly alluring part of the city.
