| Description | The idea of the ‘retro socialist’ bar may now be done to death, but this is one of the originals, in fact one of the older continuously running bars in Kraków’s Kazimierz district. Both the incredible chewed mishmash of decor and the fact it is very, very well worn in creates an unholy, quite intense effect that surpasses the original concept – and you’ll feel that whether the bar is dead or packed with people. Fun, with an occasional punky edge to it, this is a truly excellent European dive bar. (Added June 2023) |
