Choice/ Quality of Drinks	❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Superb selection of Polish craft beer in the fridge, with 8 options on keg. Alternatives are perfunctory.
Style/ Décor	❤️❤️❤️ A neighbourhood pub, that aside of the stylish signage outside is a live-in, unpretentious and characterfully battered boozer. Football scarves line the ceiling in the main bar room with a wall full of board games to choose from and Tv opposite the bar. Downstairs a surprising amount of basement space opens up with booth seating.
Atmosphere/ Character	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Very much a locals hangout, not a place you’ll pass on the tourist trail, and all the better, with a true pub atmosphere every bit as good as you’d find in England or Ireland.
Amenities/ Events	❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is what the pub is really all about. It serves its community with live events, football screenings, quiz, books, board games, and seasonal festivities.
Value For Money	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Fair value for money considering all factors.
Description	One of Gdansk’s brightest sparks on the pub scene, it isn’t one you’ll wander past but one you’ll need to make a concerted point of fitting into your schedule – but it’s worth it. Among all pubs in the city it’s difficult to think of one that serves its community better than Polufka, with more amenities than you can shake a stick at, and an environment that is democratic, wholesome, shorn of pretentiousness but not mediocre or conventional either. You may not take a first date here but you might take them every week after if things go well. The beer selection is terrific both on tap but particularly the array of fridge options, while the hoard of board games, books, football matches, quizzes, live events and so much more keep you hooked. Plain and simply, there should be one of these pubs on every street. (Added December 2023)
