| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Pubby little pivnice with the bar straight at you by the entrance, stamgast tables then a ramp to a backroom. All warm mid-brown wood, curved ceilings and pump clips decorating the bar. A few little quirks here and there. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The centre of the town’s pub action and by far its best pub for atmosphere, this is where to find the local gossip, where to meet new friends and have a natter. The duo running the place are good cop/bad cop which comes with its own ups and downs. |

| Description | Znojmo’s pub life centres around this brewery pub (note the brewing does not happen on site but elsewhere) which has wisely, in the viewer of this writer, focused on creating the social pub rather than brewing and leaving the venue as an afterthought. The place has a natural space which promotes socialising and on entering you immediately get the sense that the goings on of the town are never far away from being discussed here. As for the beers, a very competent 11 degree pale lager is the stalwart with their brewing operation producing a few seasonal rotations and specials, which is complimented by 3 or 4 alternatives also from independent small brewers. Which around here is an excellent find. Wines by the bottle reflect this is wine country. A great place and clearly an institution. (added August 2022) |
