| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Pilsner Urquell all the way. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A very classic unspoilt Pilsner pub with dark wood strips, curved doorway and knajpa style bar area with stamgast tables to the right. Some personalisation including a guitar in the corner. Side room for socialising. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Atmospheric and distinctive drinking den that is set apart from more modern alternatives by the character of its age, the husband and wife team running it and the fact it is a comfy, lived in establishment. Time to learn some lessons. Certainly benefits when busier, but decent even when quiet. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ Limited food selections, TV screen, occasional live music |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️ Fair value for the area. |
| Description | Very well reviewed PU corner pub, another hiding in plain sight between Letna and Strossmayerovo Namesti, surely one of the best areas for unspoilt pubs in Prague. A family operation that’s down to earth with relatively cheap prices and a simple knajpa type format, akin to more famous venues such as U Jelinku or Hrocha but without the city crowd and a true cast of locals. Very good and down to earth, comes into its own on weekends with a younger crowd and some live music. (Added October 2021) |
