A strong point for the pub with an interior befitting the Medieval core of the city centre. Curved ceilings and a characterful bar area decorated with ornaments. The entrance is in an alleyway, leading into a long warren, with a lounge as you enter and two further rooms to the rear.

Distinctive and cosy enough when quiet, but occasionally prone to surges of people, when it becomes a lively, garrulous place.

Description:

A true pub, down to earth, range of local characters, a lived-in feel with a cosy vibe, not too busy, and very cheap beer from Svijany. Lots to like from the medieval decor, the pet python opposite the bar, the warren like layout and occasional surges of custom that elevate the place to another level. (Added 2018)
