| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Multitap offerings of lagers and occasional ales from independent Czech brewers. Decent back bar for alternatives, particularly rum and whiskies. |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ A rustic interior with a stables theme, sounds familiar but it’s in the execution that it stands out as tastefully done. Backlit back bar which creates an effect that is half traditional hospoda and half late bar. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ One of the hubs of social activity in the town and a particularly pleasant, convivial atmosphere to spend an hour or two in the evening. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ Jukebox, courtyard, snacks, late opening |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Fair value for what’s on offer. |
| Description | A small town like Mikulov where wine dominates is perhaps not where you’d expect to find casual beer-focused pubs, but despite the influx of tourism and demographics connected to wine drinking, a lovely pub like this is still carving out a niche for itself. An atmospheric taproom blends traditional and modern with aplomb, offering a decent range of beers across different independent breweries. The place really is somewhere casual to hangout and socialise, a very pleasant spot indeed. What seals the deal is the late opening hours which, for a small town are superb. |
