| Description | Set in the heart of Tábor’s historic core in a 16th century building which now operates as a guesthouse as well as a pub. Penzion Alfa offers something which Tabor doesn’t have, a casual down to earth saloon type bar with extensive whisky selection, a point of difference that is welcome for a town of this size. The interior is shadily lit and feels like a nice place to hangout in the evening whether busy or quiet. The terrace is quiet and can be a suntrap for a few hours too. It ticks a number of boxes as well as being superior for a provincial Czech pub, meaning you should take note for your visit. |
