| Description | A simple minimalist pub with an interior that could double as a Spanish tapas bar were it not for the blackboard of excellent beers as you enter. Reliant on busy trade to create the atmosphere, so go in the evening when it is bustling and lively, as it whips up a nice convivial vibe in what is otherwise a plainly decorated space. Bonus points for the serving area at the front door where you can stand with a beer. Serves Czech craft, regionals which are maintained to the highest standards, the owners returning kegs to the suppliers that do not reach the required quality. Also stocks some good value Belgian gems in the fridge and Franconian beer has made its way onto the roster too. (Added 2017) |
