Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A one room bar with old nouveau fittings, small tables along the wall opposite the bar and lounge furniture to the rear. Pastel shades, with candels. Attractive bar area.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Atmospheric and enchanting, among candlelight, a bar with both poise and verve, neither screamingly pretentious nor shabby, it is pitched at a bohemian rather than bourgeois level, and the service is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.

❤️❤️❤️
Food, snacks, games, piano, limited outdoor seating
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️
Entirely fair value for what’s on offer. Wine drinkers in the UK will double-take at what can be acquired at these prices.
DescriptionAlthough it looks like the kind of place that could have been conjured up in the 00s, Nabuchodonosor has been around since the 1980s, acquiring an almost mythical status along the decades that have followed. It wears that relatively lightly, content to flow with the tide rather than self-mythologise (at least so long as you avoid social media accounts). The place is superbly understated, lacking the pretense and social-climbing generica of many wine bars that people like us find off-putting.  It is a place to meet up, relax, socialise and prefers to set the environment to an informal, atmospheric setting. The place is decorated in a stripped back, bohemian way, a one-room joint with a little space to mill about on the front. Their speciality is natural wines, and the menu is pared back, making a decision easier, and emphasising quality over quantity. Typically French with a cross section of people counting from students, amateur philosophers, artists, romantic couples and anyone else looking to enjoy a spectacularly good wine for a nice price in an environment that oozes charm and atmosphere.
