Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A good range of beer and wines from independent producers/brewers and competent back bar.

Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Initially plain then slowly rather intriguing. Enter through a hallway to a bar with small pub room to the right. Plain, genteel decor but on closer inspection reveals diagrams of plants and organisms, a ‘life sciences’ feel by virtue of its connection to the university department. Check out the insect house at the entrance too.
Atmosphere/

Friendly, young, local but with an international/collegiate welcome is the best way to describe it.

Outdoor seating, cargo net, bbq, garden, food, snacks, events, insect house
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️❤️
Entirely fair prices for food and drinks.
DescriptionA peculiar appeal, one which doesn’t quite come through on images of the place but certainly does when you’re there. A student base next to Prague’s institute for life sciences, a young friendly crowd enjoy a pub decorated with diagrams of bugs and plants, with an insect house as you walk in. The garden is pleasingly verdant with some knackered chunky furniture and a cargo net to hang around it. Drinks are from independent brewers and winemakers and food is limited but good quality and all at a good price. The positives just keep on piling up. Give it a try! (added August 2023)
