Description:
Möku is a sister pub – and an Estonian one at that, to a bar of the same name in Tartu.

Jumping from Estonia to Latvia has been done gracefully but also without creating a clone. This Möku is a distinctive bar in its own right.

The choice of venue itself is interesting, not based in a typical Riga townhouse but a side building by a car park. Inside, there’s a long bar with pleasingly shady, tactical lighting that helps accent the bar in all the right places.

As with their Estonian sister pub, there are more amenities than you can shake a stick at. Visit most nights of the week and even if there isn’t something happening, you can play a game of Novuss (Latvian table cue game), table football or other board/card games.

Due to the wealth of activities it succeeds in attracting a younger audience and the supplement of internationals that so essential in a city that always feels at least 20-30% short of actual Latvians.
