Choice/Quality of Drinks:
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Multitap pub with over 8 taps on rotation, focus on small Hungarian craft breweries and Czech lager. Can and bottle selection complimenting. Huge selection of Whiskies and good rum selection too. For drinks, this place is much better than normal.

Style/Décor:
❤️❤️❤️
Caught between two houses. Set in a half step basement there is a fair effort to make a sort of twee living room, but with some odd design choices it doesn’t quite fit together coherently. If that is the point, we aren’t sure it is effective. All the same, there’s some distinctive items and it has a lot of potential. The bar is located on the corridor which leads to some smaller siderooms also fitting out for sitting and socialising.

Atmosphere/Character:
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Basement level drinking den with a social feel and a persistent local crowd not yet washed away with any tourist tides. Music at reasonable background level, occasionally sport on TV. Ticks over like a pub, but just an odd one.

Amenities/Events:
❤️❤️
TV, snacks

Value For Money:
❤️❤️❤️
Not bad, certainly not cheap but not massively expensive either.

Description:
One of the retro presszos that came to prominence following the peak of ruin bars in the mid ’10s, this basement setting provides no doubt whatsoever as to its commitment to quality drinks, with a big selection of tapped beer, whiskies and rum. The interior is twee but offbeat with clashing decor and some works, some doesn’t. Still it’s a good social space and this close to the party district it’s good to see where some of the residents go for a drink, albeit the more male late thirties contingent.
