Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A good quality back bar kitted out for wines, whisky, aperitivo, mixers, cocktails and liqueurs. Basic beers though.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Situated in a 15th century building, the Palaca Marulic said to have been the birthplace of the eponymous Croatian literary legend. The bar lets the natural character do the heavy lifting, a wise choice. Subtly lit with a cosy small main bar and long room to the rear that almost feels like a separate business.

Loungey and purposefully low-key, you can escape the sometimes claustrophobic chaos of the old town by coming here. The bar lets the natural character do the heavy lifting, a wise choice. Subtly lit with a cosy small main bar and long room to the rear that almost feels like a separate business.

Value For Money❤️❤️
Higher than average but not extortionate.
DescriptionTastefully exploiting the historic preserved environments of a 15th century palace, there is an inherited genius loci to this building which they have carefully built upon, an ambience that is a refreshing, cosy, and calming escape from the sometimes stifling crowds in Split old town.

Live music and readings can be experienced here, as you’d expect from the title, but on other days there is a relaxed soundtrack in what is a deliberately low key place for a romantic evening, or quiet plotting with a friend or two.

Be sure to explore the surroundings too. It is, and already many years ago became a central institution.
