Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A compact roster of great beers from small independent Czech breweries with large fridge selection for alternatives, predominantly Czech but with some Polish and German presence. Perfunctory alternatives, it is a Pivoteka after all.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️
Nothing overly impressive about the interior but it looks like this used to be a Czech hospoda going from the layout and furniture. Approach to find a small/medium-sized taproom with fridges, with a large main pub room through an arch.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Atmosphere is entirely generated by people here rather than surroundings, but you’ll be pleased to learn that the place is vibrant and nearly entirely frequented by locals due to the fact that as of 2024 hardly any tourists have heard of the place, let alone those prepared to travel out to Strasnice/Prague 10.

Snacks, TV, limited outdoor seating, occasional events
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fairly priced considering the quality of the wares.
DescriptionThe phrase ‘small beer’ travels, it would seem, but this rather self-effacing title shouldn’t disguise what is a vibrant and not all that small operation.

Based on the corner of what was surely once a typical Czech hospoda, this has been rebooted for the 21st century while still retaining a core pubbyness.

Modern beers are the order of the day, which includes faithful, high quality takes on traditional styles. A roster of 5/6 taps is ably supplemented with a row of fridges, you will surely not fail to find something you enjoy drinking.

Although the interior is plain and would benefit from some personalising for its own identity, the sheer vibrancy, neighbourhood atmosphere and total departure and absence of tourists makes this at the time of writing somewhat of a hidden gem.

The funny thing is it really doesn’t take long to get to. Can you sit on a tram for 20 minutes from the centre of town? There you go then. No excuses!
