| Description | The Heuriger is an Austrian wine tavern where wine producers fling open their doors providing hospitality which can extend to rooms and meals or basic deli spreads. Lucky’s has more than a hint of the English pub carvery to it, but on a low key independent, family-run level. This element is accentuated by a simple small bar area for their friends and regulars. The interior is warm, homely and genteel with personal flavour, you feel welcome even in an alien concept in an unusual, non-touristy part of town. Home cooking is provided, the buffet and drinks very good value and we came away very happy to come back here, and to try more Heurigers. (added April 2023) |
