Choice/ Quality of Drinks	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Own brewed beer from Mandrill brewery and good Croatian craft beer selection in the fridge. Limited alternatives including cider.
Style/ Décor	❤️❤️❤️ A step down from the previous location, more backpackery appearance. A small bar with niches and ad hoc furnishings. Cushions on the steps outside however are a nice touch and give the place a much needed element.
Atmosphere/ Character	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Old town atmosphere out on the steps certainly adds a lot, undeniably, while the backpackery nature does give it a friendly feel, along with the friendly service of the host. It simply isn’t what it used to be in the old location though.
Amenities/ Events	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Food, snacks, TV, books.
Value For Money	❤️❤️ Undeniably expensive and not clearly priced either.
Description	Back in 2018, Leopold’s Delicatessen on the fringes of the old town was a must-visit venue with a distinctive interior and cutting edge beers. Time moves on inexorably however and the sands have shifted. You’ll find the bar in the centre of the old town now, among the maze of streets which undeniably lends it a certain atmosphere, but is attracting nearly all tourists rather than locals, a decision I’m sure they made in full knowledge that would be the case. The venue interior is a big step down too. It isn’t all disappointing though, as service from the owner’s wife is friendly and helpful, they have their own brewing operations and the general selection of drinks is strong. As you’ll be exploring the alleyways of beautiful Split old town, a place like this is handy to have up your sleeve. Bittersweet though, like an IPA. (Added August 2024)
