| Description | A superior Station Pub, this one benefits from outdoor seating by the tracks and heritage signage. Inside a high ceiling with an angle barn-like space leads towards the bar which is very well stocked with national cask and keg beer, although plenty of alternatives are available. Despite the captive audience prices remain scrupulously fair. Well worth a stop off in Monkseaton, and it’s a short enough walk to Whitley Bay beach past another couple of decent bars. |
