Heavy Metal/Fantasy themed though definitely on the whimsical Historic Fantasy side rather than the gothic. Tainted glass and a one-room pubby pub with tiled floor, wood fittings and furnishings. Striking selection of skull shaped glasses behind the bar and tall high backed chairs.

Description:
The Lair of Two Worlds is a fantasy/metal themed pub on the periphery of Dijon city centre. Rather than the theme dominating the experience as it can happen, it’s actually a pretty humble, popular, colourful tavern, not heavy or scuzzy, with a good range of customers who use it as a pub to socialise, play cards and games and catch up, having that energy about it. This is supplemented by pub grub offerings.

However, as you look around, the whimsical remains in place, with swords fastened to the wall, heraldry, tinted glass and skull shaped chalices for regulars to drink from.

What makes the place stand out further is its unusually strong selection of ales from independent French brewers both on tap and in bottles, with a rotation throughout the year, making it a clear recommendation.
