| Description | The gap between the Spanish bodega and the craft beer scene shows no sign of narrowing, the former still persevering with 1 or 2 taps of basic lager, the latter still aggressively partitioning a certain demographic. Very few Spanish bars manage to bridge the gap of providing product and a distinctive venue. A few manage to be distinctive in their own right however, and this goes for La Bona Pinta, a neighbourhood corner craft beer bar with a good range for its compact size, a casual, and fairly unpretentious approach and enough space to allow it to fill up and generate atmosphere. There are clearly ways it could improve but for what it is bringing to the table, it deserves an inclusion. (May 2024) |
