| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ At first glance the bar appears familiar, plain even, but then certain quirks begin to stand out such as the barrels by the bar, exposed beams, ‘Hanseatic’ belt type historic building, piano and some nautical themes, an overall well decorated pub. |

| Description | A nice find which we visited only an hour before leaving Torun, well located between the train station and old town, focusing on Polish beers including several from the city and region. The venue itself has had some focus applied to it as well, a naturally characterful historic venue with beams and barrels, comfortably furnished with a correctly ‘pubby feel’, decorated without a cookie cutter craft template applied which is relieving. Friendly and neighbourly despite the location, while the beer is clearly the outstanding element, overall there’s plenty to recommend. They also have a link to an adjacent restaurant ‘Restauracja Gospoda Pod Modrym Fartuchem’. (Added April 2023) |
