| Description | It has taken maybe 8 visits but we are finally convinced by this place as a firm guide addition. A tiny bar with an alternative leaning, you won’t find much else in the city centre that offers similar, but it isn’t simply ‘best of the rest’, there is a quirky design with ceiling fresco, huge mirrors, coffin secured above the door and a few macabre pieces as it dances between gothic and religious iconography. The crowd is mainly local, the drinks are pretty cheap and their new vegan kitchen is simple and affordable. Perhaps it would be nice to have more proper seating and less high tables, but that’s a minor gripe. |
