Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️
A broad, if shallow range of pale lagers on tap with a broader and somehow still shallow range of pale lagers and radlers in the fridge. Perfunctory alternatives (liqueurs, vodka, etc) available.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️
A shack isolated around the train tracks and modern urban sprawl. Interior is traditional rustic ‘Karczma’ style with country heritage decorated around wooden fitting and niches.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Extremely unusual for Warsaw let alone the downtown, a throwback with an elderly operation. There’s something special about the fact this is such a survivor whether you happen to like the decoration or the beers. True local life, and not all old crusties either, with the beer garden attracting younger people in the known.

Value For Money❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Excellent value for money for central Warsaw, even bearing in mind basic wares.
DescriptionA true survivor, the owners of the glass towers overshadowing this tiny old survivor shack probably see it every day and dream of nuking it from orbit. This itself makes it a charming venue, even a cult one. There is nothing on the approach except an extremely unprepossessing cabin, but on entry you will see what the fuss is about. This old-timer pub has an elderly owner, local legend, Karczma style rustic interior and churns out tap lager and Polish pub food (Sausage, Pierogi, etc) for pennies. Attracting a young crowd for the value and the beer garden, and old crusties for a taste of the land that time forgot, this is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea to say the least, but it is authentic, and in a time where authenticity is bleeding out of the universe, it is one to treasure for its simple charms and forgive its trespasses. EDIT – Already there are rumours about an imminent closure and transfer of ownership. Very worrying if true.
