Description:
Kaffee Bazaar is the place to go in Ypres if your number one priority is beer. They offer a total of 500, with ever changing tap selection and a chunky menu of alternatives. Their USP is ‘the black list’, one of the most specialist curated menus of dark beers, particularly stouts in Europe. They also offer beer tastings in association with ‘The Beer Order of Vauban’.

But if your number one priority isn’t beer but an atmospheric place to hang out, Kaffee Bazaar has that covered too. The front room has that typical casual café setup, somewhere you’d take a partner for a relaxing drink, while if you pass the bar you’ll enter more pubby, casual, common room surroundings with big maps on the wall, bookshelves and a sense that you could hang out at your leisure enjoying a read, some music or just straight up socialising.

Combining really specialist stuff to drink with this casual approach is a winning combination in our view. With 1am closing 4 nights a week it also offers utility and convenience, keeping the candle burning in an otherwise smallish town.
