Quality of Drinks
❤️❤️❤️
Basic beer, wine and central European liqueurs very much straight down the line in terms of familiarity.
Style/
Décor
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The reason to be here. A collection of Army and Farming machinery from the US in the garden, with an interior, bunker-like decorated with memorabilia, nik-naks and mementos, antiques and anything else that can be found. Guns? Yep. Toy trains? Also yep.
Atmosphere/
Character
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The character you’d expect from a labour of love and a unique creation. Atmospheric in the evenings especially, but also worth considering for a warm Spring/Summer afternoon in the garden.
Amenities/
Events
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Food, snacks, museum/memorabilia, outdoor seating.
Value For Money❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Among the cheapest places for a beer in Prague.
DescriptionEstablished in 1993, a personal labour of love, a collector and enthusiast of US machinery from farming and the armed forces, who has turned a house on an otherwise very sleepy area of the city into a curio – museum/bar/garden, a bit of all three.

Drop into his little bar to find a carefully and lovingly curated ensemble – you know the kind by now – every inch of wall space taken up with memorabilia and nik-naks. The place is appropriately lit and staffed by one man and one man only.

It’s something really quite incredible, and a kind of pub you can count fewer than 10 in the whole country (unless there are some we haven’t discovered yet).

Rather unlikely, this, but the bar also serves basic food – General Patton’s ration of goulash, anyone? This is to help wash down the beer – a basic Gambrinus 10 sold at basement level prices.

For a true curio, somewhere off the beaten path, and unlike almost anywhere you’ll visit again, this is well worth the trip out.

The easiest way is to get the Tram to Klamovka stop, then walk up the hill from there.
