Choice/ Quality of Drinks	❤️❤️❤️ Samson on tap, the towns ‘other’ beer. Unusual, even for the city. Classic Czech back bar options for harder stuff.
Style/ Décor	❤️❤️❤️❤️ An attractive mural by a garage entrance leads to a large courtyard. In the pub itself, find homely, twee interior with doilies and rich blue table cloths. A well looked after pub.
Atmosphere/ Character	❤️❤️❤️❤️ True local life, after all, few tourists would go this far out of town. However you’ll receive a friendly welcome if you mind your ps and qs, and there are two sides to the atmosphere, with some more raucous musical moments in the courtyard and genteel socialising inside.

Description	Time stands still here, in a sideroad just outside of the city centre, you’ll find this genteel old time Hostinec. But don’t think anything has gone stale here. It’s a vibrant place with local life spanning the generations. Younger folk spending warm evenings in the courtyard, older folk by the taps socialising. Even the twee decorations look well-tended to with each item dusted and in its place. Further still, you’ll find Samson on tap, the other traditional Budweis brand and original hoarding above the taps. It’s a fair drink well tapped and at its best, and you are unlikely to find it any better than here. As you enter the place you’ll find a new-looking mural/emblem painted on the garage wall, which itself seems to broadcast that the place is still here and still relevant. (Added June 2022)
