| Choice/ Quality of Drinks | ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Range of Uneticky Pivovar’s beers and decent selection of wine and liqueurs |
| Style/ Décor | ❤️❤️❤️ Historic pub, among the oldest in Prague. The outside of the place looks fairly elderly, with similarly large signage aping its Austrian-era appearance. A beautiful front garden, and you are then lead into the main pub room which is a square, high ceilinged and fairly – by Czech standards – formal affair. Solid hard wood furniture and genteel decor. |
| Atmosphere/ Character | ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Certainly operates as a gastropub by day with decent reputation for food, which impinges on true pub drinking a little, but clearly space later on for this to transform into a good boozer as well. |
| Amenities/ Events | ❤️❤️❤️ High standard pub meals, garden |
| Value For Money | ❤️❤️❤️ Slightly higher for the area |
| Description | A historic venue, one of the oldest in the city limits to have been continually operating for hundreds of years. Change happens carefully here but it does happen. The inside has been a little gastropubbed, but still remains a decent upright yet genteel rustic appearance in keeping with its country pub type setting (albeit more of a leafy suburban location). The beers are truly excellent as is the food, so this is somewhere to recommend for a higher standard than the average Czech hospoda, prices not too much higher considering that. Drop in for lunch or give it a chance for a drink later on in the day. (added October 2021) |
