Choice/ Quality of Drinks	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Zavis, a safe bet of a Czech pilsner if there ever is one, with a few alternatives and an array of perfunctory back bar choices.
Style/ Décor	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Basement venue. The style? Well, a squat? Something along those lines. Ad hoc with a main bar/lounge and rooms around it which have been, let’s just say…personalised.
Atmosphere/ Character	❤️❤️❤️❤️ Part of Brno’s underground scene, this is a love-or-hate venue with a punk/drop-out attitude and aesthetic.

Description	One of Brno’s cult venues – love-or-hate, but when you read those that love the place, you begin to respect the sense of the appeal. People threatening to leave the city if it closes down generally grab your attention. Similar in vibe to underground venues like Mydlo and Blues Bar, as soon as you walk in you feel like you’ve left normal life and whatever rules and jurisdictions no longer apply – and not just because of the smoke! Despite all this, the young server will churn out toasties to keep punters happy, pour pretty respectable Zavis 12 beer and set the scene for drop out lounging, smoking, tomfoolery and whatever else you might imagine goes on in a punk/alternative pub. Take a look around and it’s clear this has never graduated from being an alternative bar to a tourist destination, and very probably never will, even with our recommendation hung around its neck!
