High ceilings, and oversized everything – from tables, lanterns, even to giant pretzels, the scale of the place makes you feel in the midst of something grand. State financed, this is because it represents a cultural icon. Enjoy the traditional music and kind service, with only the occasional overspills of boisterousness and tourist deluge in the Schwemme taking the edge of what would otherwise be a 10/10 experience. |
